SHORT BREAKS – Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of the terms & conditions below is a condition of booking with Mystic Mountain Tours.

Please note when a “ticket” on our site is classed as a DEPOSIT. This is clearly marked on the event pages where it applies. These products are available so that you can easily secure your spot online and don’t miss out on your dream tour! Where this is the case, a payment of the remaining balance will be required before you can depart on the tour. Always see the tour event page for the full ticket prices. A Single Room Supplement Charge applies where ‘Single’ accommodation is selected (this is included in any prices listed as ‘Single’).

  1.  Cancellations and Refunds—All cancellations must be advised in writing. When a client cancels a booking, the following cancellation charges apply: (a) More than 30 days prior to the scheduled departure, full refund offered; (b) 8-30 days prior to the scheduled departure, 50% refund; (c) Within 7 days of departure, no refund is given (exceptions can apply). We base our tour on a minimum number of bookings and reserve the right to cancel should this not be reached; if Mystic Mountain Tours must cancel a tour, a full refund will be given to ticket holders.
  2. Changes in Itinerary—We reserve the right to make such changes as are deemed appropriate for the added enjoyment and/or safety of our passengers. Tours may also be subject to change due to the availability of producers and locations. Mystic Mountain Gourmet Tours cannot be held responsible for tour program alterations due to flooding, acts of nature, missed flight connections, cultural events, road closures, medical evacuations, or damage to personal belongings and/or loss of property.
  3. Items Not Included—Unless otherwise specified, the cost of meals, drinks, tips and gratuities, laundry, and items of a personal nature are not included. Travel insurance is not provided by Mystic Mountain Tours and should be sought separately.
  4. Medical & Dietary Requirements – It is the individual responsibility of participants to advise us of their relevant medical & dietary requirements, including any food allergies or intolerances, any other health issues, or any religious/ethical restrictions. We will do our best to accommodate these.
  5. Payment – Mystic Mountain Tours requires pre-payment for all its tours. Tour places are not confirmed until payment of a deposit is processed. Departure is dependent on payment of the remaining balance. Payments are accepted through the on-line booking system, or by direct deposit or internet transfer.
  6. Alcohol Policy – Mystic Mountain Tours is committed to running tours where participants are both happy and safe. Mystic Mountain Tours ensures that alcohol served and consumed on the tour is done so in a responsible way.
  7. Public Liability – Mystic Mountain Tours holds public liability insurance in its responsibility to both participants and venues. In the event of a claim, all dealings will be managed by our policyholder. Mystic Mountain Tours takes no responsibility for your personal possessions on a tour. Mystic Mountain Tours has no liability for any act, omission, or default, whether negligent or otherwise of any supplier.
  8. Privacy Policy – Personal information shared with Mystic Mountain Tours is solely used in the organisation and conduct of the tour (unless you specifically request to join our mailing lists). No information is shared with any other party, or used for any purpose other than those to which you have explicitly consented.

LOCAL TOURS – Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of the terms & conditions below is a condition of booking with Mystic Mountain Tours.

  1. Cancellations and Refunds: Provider initiated – All tours require a minimum number of 4 participants to go ahead. In the case that this number is not reached, you will be offered a full refund, or the option to transfer your booking to another date. You will be given 24 hours notice of any cancellation or change. The tour will go ahead in most weather conditions. In the situation of unbearably inclement weather, ticket holders are offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule. If Mystic Mountain Gourmet Tours must cancel a tour, a full refund will be given to ticket holders.
  2. Cancellations and Refunds: Client initiated – All cancellations must be advised in writing. Seven or more days prior to departure, an 80% refund will be issued. 2-7 days prior, a 50% refund will be issued. Within 48 hours of tour departure, cancellations, refunds and rescheduling are unavailable. We recommend travel insurance in the event that you must cancel or alter your trip.
  3. Amendments to Your Booking – Any changes or amendments to your booking after confirmation can only be accepted subject to availability, Mystic Mountain Gourmet Tours reserves the right to charge an amendment fee in respect of any change to your booking in addition to any other applicable charges in relation to the amendment.
  4. Payment – Mystic Mountain Tours requires pre-payment for all its tours. Tour places are not confirmed until payment is processed. Payments are accepted through the on-line booking system, or by direct deposit or internet transfer. Please contact us to check tour availability if you would prefer not to use the on-line booking system.
  5.
