Hand feed wild dolphins – Tangalooma is one of the few destinations in the world where visitors can interact with native wildlife in its natural environment. You can get in the water and get involved, or watch the experience closely from seats along the jetty.
The World of Dolphins presentation – Visit the Marine Education & Conservation Centre to learn about these amazingly intelligent wild creatures and their curiosity and interest in humans. You will see each of the dolphins that visit Tangalooma on the big screen – and possibly recognise them!
Sunset Cruise of the Wrecks – A friendly, helpful and knowledgeable crew will share the history and stories of the wrecks. A surreal and peaceful journey perfect for photography.
Northern Safari Tour – Take a journey along the western beaches, through the townships, and on to explore North Point before heading to the oldest lighthouse in Queensland (Cape Moreton Light). Return along the eastern beaches, and get a sense of the island as a whole. Includes morning tea.
The Whaling Station – Visit another part of the island’s history by touring the Flensing deck and its remnants of another time. An interesting presentation on this period of Moreton’s past is given by an Eco Ranger.
Explore the Island! – Take time out from the group and try your choice of Moreton Island’s best eateries. Choose from The Beach Cafe, Copper Grill, Fire & Stone Restaurant, Castaway’s Store & Cafe, Tangalooma Coffee Shop, and more. Take home some treasures from your trip too!
The Tangalooma/Moreton Island Tour costs $655 per person (based on twin share) or $740 including the single room supplement.
