Winery & Gourmet Food Tours operate every Saturday or any day by appointment. We pick up from accomodation places on the Sunshine Coast & Hinterland and deliver you safely back. Brisbane & Caboolture pick ups are available for groups. There is a wide selection of itineries to various destinations including our Sunshine Coast & Hinterland, South Burnett, Mt Tamborine & weekend packages to Stanthorpe, Bunya Mountains & the Bisbane Scenic Rim. Half day & full day tours available for a great Queensland wine experience.  Here is a small taste of what you will experience on our local Hinterland Wine Trail. Maleny Mountain Wines at the Big Barrel: Maleny Mountain Wines is situated in the heart of the Sunshine Coast's beautiful Hinterland between Landsborough and Maleny and overlooking the Glasshouse Mountains. Established by the Pagano family in the year 2000, the Big Barrel Vineyard & Winery was a dream come true after having been in the wine industry in Australia for over forty years. The family already were successful in making wines in Italy in the foothills of Mt Etna for over 100 years and when Sebastian and his wife Maria first saw the Maleny area some eleven years ago, it reminded them of Mt Etna and they soon saw the potential of the rich volcanic soils that abound on the surrounding Blackall Range.   Settlers Rise Vineyard & Winery Montville Queensland:  Settlers Rise Vineyard, situated in the beautiful highlands of Blackall Ranges in Montville, is an easy drive from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Located in the heart of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Setters Rise has developed into one of Queensland's premier wineries and offers a unique experience for everyone. Let the friendly and knowledgeable cellar door staff guide you through the Award Winning range of wines created exclusively for Settlers Rise by winemaker, Master of Wine, Peter Scudamore-Smith. Relax on the verandah of the restored Queensland homestead and enjoy views over the Obi Obi Valley, Noosa and Mooloolaba whilst enjoying a glass of Queensland wine, local gourmet cheese platters or coffee and cake. Wines are available for tasting and purchasing at the Cellar Door daily. Settlers Rise Vineyard and winery is located on Western Avenue (on the road to Lake Baroon) 2.5km from the township of Montville. Whilst visiting Settlers Rise you'll want to explore Montville Village and the surrounding National Parks. You'll love the arts and craft markets and the incredible range of cottage industries, woodcraft, unique jewellery, art galleries, pottery, restaurants and more. Fine wine is complemented by fine food and our lunch venue this month features -   Le Relais Bressan at Flaxton - fabulous authentic French food served with warm hospitality. There is a three-course meal for $25, or other choices are available.  Also featured are cheese & yogurt tastings held at the award winning Maleny Cheese. Locally produced from the milk of 'happy cows' by Markus Bucher, Swiss Master Cheese Maker.  There are eight other Wineries and cellar doors in the Sunshine Coast area, because we are unable to visit all in a day we rotate our wine tours to visit all these special locations each with their own unique character. We also take Wine Tours to the South Burnett, Stanthorpe, Mount Tamborine, Brisbane & Scenic Rim, Bunya Mountains & other Regions to sample the hospitality and fine wines produced in  Queensland.
